2017 WA State Election

The next Western Australian State Election is scheduled for Saturday 11 March 2017.

WANADA, led by Board members Terry Murphy, Sheila McHale and Paul O'Neill, along with staff members Jill Rundle, Ethan James and Deanne Ferris, is planning its approach to the 2017 State Election.

AOD Sector 2017 WA State Election Forum

WANADA provided an opportunity for major political party representatives to present their alcohol and other drug policy platforms and discuss relevant issues directly with the WA alcohol and other drug sector at its 2017 State Election Forum on Thursday 2 February 2017 in Perth.

The Hon Andrea Mitchell MLA (Liberal), the Hon Stephen Dawson MLC (Labor) and Greens WA candidate for the North Metropolitan region Alison Xamon participated in the event, facilitated by Cathy O'Leary, Health and Medical Editor at WA Newspapers.
