Join the Aboriginal and Drug Service (AADS) in this rewarding role. As the only metropolitan specific alcohol and other drug service provider we support individuals to meet the needs of their families and communities.
AADS is growing fast and the strategic plan has set ambitious goals.
This Leadership Team role is vital to manage the growth and existing operations, ensuring AADS is sustainable into the future.
Job tasks and responsibilities
This role is responsible for the financial and human resource management of the organisation, together with corporate governance and compliance.
A key responsibility of the role is managing and supporting Program Managers and ensuring that programs are resourced appropriately and meet the funding objectives and outcomes.
Financial management including managing the payroll, budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow monitoring together with providing monthly and annual financial reports to the CEO and the Board of Directors.
Skills and experience
You will be proficient in Quick Books or similar financial system, and experienced in producing financial reports.
You should have a good understanding of equality and diversity issues in a diverse aboriginal cultural environment.
You need to demonstrate experience in managing people and a good understanding of human resources issues.
You must have experience of developing and monitoring policies and procedures in a quality framework.
