We have an exciting opportunity at our Rick Hammersley Centre Therapeutic Community (TC) for a Clinical Coordinator who will provide leadership to the team in the Saranna Women and Children’s Program.

Working closely with the TC Manager, the clinical Coordinator will provide professional alcohol and other drug (AOD) counselling, education and support services to consumers with a focus on consumer engagement and reflective and innovative practice.

Salary level 6 -7, $75,423 - $86,390 (per annum, pro rata)

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a degree in Social, Behavioural, Education, Health Sciences or equivalent experience and training in the AOD sector.
  • Experience in coordinating and managing teams.
  • Have demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with families and children.
  • Well-developed counselling and clinical supervision skills.
  • Knowledge of substance use and current AOD issues.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and mediation skills.
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication skills, including experience in report writing.
  • The ability to exercise judgement and contribute to the development of policy and procedures with a focus on best practice.
  • Current “C” class driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Current National Police Certificate, WWCC and First Aid Certificate.
