Palmerston Association - Community Aboriginal Worker - Drug and Alcohol

Fixed term full time contract until 30 June 2018 (with possible extension)

Palmerston Association is a leading and respected not for profit organisation supporting people with alcohol and other drug issues in Western Australia.

Based at Palmerston Perth the Aboriginal counsellor/educators will deliver a culturally secure alcohol and drug service (AOD) to the community. The role includes outreach services and support to individuals and families struggling with alcohol and other drug issues. A strong sense of community connection is essential, along with good communication and yarning skills.
