WANADA is pleased to welcome McCusker Centre for Citizenship intern Bernardo Islas Reyes.
Originally from Mexico, Bernardo has also lived in China. and believes his internship is an excellent opportunity to volunteer while learning more about Western Australia's alcohol and other drug sector.
As part of his internship at WANADA, Bernardo will be sourcing evidence-based resources and tools to support the Standard on Culturally Secure Practice (Alcohol and other Drug Sector).
Bernardo is completing a Master of Environmental Science at the University of Western Australia and has a background in the manufacturing, corporate and international business fields. His interest in the environment stems from professional experiences that have highlighted the important link between business and sustainability.
