The Counsellor Educator’s role is to provide proficient, culturally secure case management, assessment, group facilitation, education and support to consumers and their families and the local community. The primary focus of the role is to assess suitability for treatment within one of Cyrenian House’s residential therapeutic communities as well as offering case management support, along with group facilitation.

We’re looking for someone with strong clinical expertise in the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) sector to provide holistic care, brief interventions, and specialist referrals to clients seeking support through the Community Alcohol and Drug Service. Your skills and knowledge will directly help individuals on their journey to better health and wellbeing.

The Counsellor Educator will provide professional alcohol and other drug (AOD) counselling, education, and support to consumers and their families within a residential setting. The role will have a strong focus on consumer engagement.

The Residential Supervisor will work with the residential team to provide a safe environment for the therapeutic community (TC) residents.
