The Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use at the University of Sydney will deliver a free, evidence-based webinar this April for professionals supporting people who use alcohol and other drugs:

Matilda Centre – Breaking the cycle: Evidence update and practical strategies for treating co-occurring anxiety and substance use

The webinar will provide an overview of co-occurring anxiety and substance use, along with practical, evidence-informed strategies to support treatment and management.

It forms part of the Matilda Centre’s Comorbidity Project webinar series, which aims to strengthen workforce capacity in responding to co-occurring alcohol and other drug and mental health conditions.

Speakers include Professor and Lead in Intervention and Implementation at the Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use at the University of Sydney, Professor Lexine Stapinski.
