People with Disabilities WA (PwDWA) State Conference 2022

Join WA’s conference led exclusively by people with disabilities on 7-8 December 2022 at the Bendat Centre in Wembley.

This conference welcomes everyone, including people who identify as having a disability or mental health issue; carers, family and friends; service providers; community sector professionals, educators, health workers and the wider community.

Exploring the theme “Inclusive Communities” this event is designed to:

  • develop and strengthen the agency and capabilities of people with disabilities.
  • provide disability information, resources and opportunities to organisational and peer leaders, and share the lived experience of people with disabilities.
  • provide a platform for addressing contemporary and emerging issues
  • provide a forum for resource sharing, ideas exchange and collaboration.
  • raise the profile of disability issues and promote positive attitudes to disability
  • showcase and promote best practice inclusive event management.
