Call for Abstracts
WANADA is pleased to invite submissions for abstracts for the WA Alcohol and Other Drug Conference 2025, which will take place from 5 – 7 March 2025 at Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges, Walyalup/Fremantle. This year’s theme is “Pathways, Systems, Strategies”, and we are looking for innovative and impactful contributions that address the conference stream topics listed below.
Submission Guidelines:
- Abstract Length: 250 words
- Abstract Presentation Length: 20 minutes (including 5 minutes for questions)
- Format: Microsoft Word, PDF
- Submission Deadline: Friday 13 December 2024 at 5pm
- Notification of Acceptance: Friday 10 January 2025

Please ensure your abstract follows the abstract guidelines by clearly identifying key messages you want your audience to take away, using plain language and not including references, diagrams, graphs, or tables in your abstract. Abstracts will be reviewed based on relevance to the theme, clarity, and originality.
