The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced People and Culture Advisor to join our small HR team in this newly created role.
You will partner with managers in an assigned portfolio of alcohol and other drug (AOD) services, providing a full range of human resources services, with a focus on managing employee life cycle activities.
The role will also support broader people related activities undertaken within the People and Culture Department, which may include compiling data for regular reporting, researching and or monitoring changes in relevant legislation, award/EA interpretation, contributing to HR system and policy improvements, and human resources projects.
The role is being offered as part-time, 38 hours per fortnight worked over 3 or 4 days per week; days and hours are negotiable. Our Corporate office is located at 308 Fitzgerald St. Perth.
Salary $90,329 – $106,679 per annum pro rata. Note, we are currently finalising a new Enterprise Agreement, which will be voted on during February 2025.

Cyrenian House provides a wide range of high-quality residential and outpatient consumer treatment services across the Perth metropolitan area and several regional WA locations that make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by alcohol and other drugs. The organisation is currently comprised of over 250 professionals, administrative, and support employees, with further planned growth in services and employee numbers over the next one to two years.
To be appointed / successful in this role you will require the following key qualifications, skills and experience:
- A qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a HR Advisor / Business Partner role.
- Experience utilising various HRIS – familiarisation with Employment Hero would be an advantage.
- Able to partner with managers and deliver quality and timely HR services to support service delivery.
- Organisation and administrative skills.
- Sound problem solving skills.
- Understanding of Employment law and experience interpreting Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements in Australia.
- Satisfactory Police Clearance
- First Aid Certificate
- Unrestricted Driver Licence
