Cyrenian House – Administration Assistant /Receptionist 

We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant /Receptionist to join our team at Midland Withdrawal and Intervention Centre (MWIC), based in Middle Swan on a part-time basis, working 45 hours per fortnight.

This is a frontline, initial contact position providing a welcoming introduction to people accessing Cyrenian House services. The position performs duties that are consumer focused including maintaining records, reception, and telephone systems.

This position is also responsible for providing some administrative support to the clinical team and manager as directed.

The successful candidate must share our mission and values and demonstrate passion and drive to provide high quality services to people affected by alcohol and other drugs.

Hours of work will be Monday – Friday 9am -1.30pm. Level 2 -Level 3 $80,991 -$84,981 per annum pro rata.

Cyrenian House is a leading not-for-profit non-government organisation that has been operating within the alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment sector since 1981. Cyrenian House provides a wide range of high-quality treatment services that make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by alcohol and other drugs.

Requirements for the role are:

  • Diploma in office administration, business administration certificate, or equivalent qualification and/or experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including a welcoming manner, for telephone and face-to-face interactions.
  • Sound written communication skills, with experience in minute taking.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Experience in use of filing systems, appointment management and administrative systems.
  • Flexible and an ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Well-developed computer skills including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A current Driver’s Licence, National Police Clearance, First Aid Certificate and full work rights.
