About the Role:

The role of Clinical Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Service Manager to deliver programs at Wandoo Rehabilitation Therapeutic Community Prison in partnership with the Department of Justice (DOJ).

The Clinical Coordinator is required to provide leadership and support staff utilizing efficient work practices and exercising initiative and sound judgement.

The Clinical Coordinator is required to work within the context of the TC, maintaining the essential elements of the Community as Method (CAM) treatment approach and maintain relationship with the key stakeholder.

The position will be located at Wandooo Women’s Rehabilitation Prison in Murdoch.

Level 6/7 $115,053 – $125,889 per annum pro rata (depending on experience)

To be appointed / successful in this role, you will require the following key qualifications, skills and experience:

  • A degree in social, behavioural or health sciences.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the provision of treatment for people with AOD issues, such as group work, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions and counselling.
  • Solid experience in providing clinical supervision and oversight of a clinical program targeted at vulnerable client groups.
  • Well-developed leadership and communication skills. Experience managing a team, maintaining cooperative relationships with stakeholders, showing initiative and operating with sound judgement.
  • Have demonstrated experience in working with women who are experiencing multiple unmet needs.
  • Excellent clinical writing skills, such as writing and editing comprehensive individual treatment reports. Including the competent use of software, such as Microsoft Office and learning specialised applications.
  • Adept in self-management and organising multiple tasks within a team environment.
  • Full work rights, National Police Clearance and Department of Justice Clearance, current First Aid Certificate and Drivers Licence.
