We are seeking a Counsellor Educator with strong clinical knowledge and experience in delivering alcohol and other drug (AOD) interventions.

The Counsellor Educator’s role is to provide proficient, culturally secure case management, assessment, group facilitation, education and support to consumers and their families and the local community. The primary focus of the role is to assess suitability for treatment within one of Cyrenian House’s residential therapeutic communities as well as offering case management support, along with group facilitation.

The Counsellor Educator will provide professional alcohol and other drug (AOD) counselling, education, and support to consumers and their families within a residential setting. The role will have a strong focus on consumer engagement.

The Residential Supervisor will work with the residential team to provide a safe environment for the therapeutic community (TC) residents.

The Aboriginal Support Worker will provide yarning, mentoring, interactive therapeutic activities, education, mediation, and support staff members and residents in a residential alcohol and other drug treatment setting.
