The Counsellor Educator’s role is to provide proficient, culturally secure case management, assessment, group facilitation, education and support to consumers and their families and the local community.

Start Court is a program that is a therapeutic court for adults who are before the Central Law Courts and have mental health challenges. The program provides participants with holistic support to help address the underlying causes of their offending behaviour. The Finance Officer is responsible to the GMFPC for the preparation, processing and data entry of activities related to the financial operations of Palmerston Association.

This role will provide culturally secure counselling, case management, and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families seeking residential treatment through our Residential Pathways Program.

The role of Counsellor Educator within the Therapeutic Community (Gnangara Program) will provide professional and culturally secure counselling, group educational sessions and support to residents and their families.

The Residential Supervisor works with the residential team to provide a safe environment for all therapeutic community (TC) residents. They maintain a presence within the TC community and are available to attend to any immediate concerns, where appropriate.

The Senior TC Counsellor Educator (STCCE) role is to facilitate and strengthen the Community as Method (CAM) treatment approach that underpins and informs service delivery within the Therapeutic Community.

The Counsellor Educator will work within the Therapeutic Community to provide professional alcohol and other drug (AOD) services to residents.

This role is focused on delivering high-quality, culturally safe case management and support services to individuals experiencing challenges related to alcohol, drugs, and mental health.

As Residential Supervisor, (including Sleep Shift and awake Night Shift) you will work with the residential team to provide a safe environment for the residents at Cyrenian House’s residential services.
