About the Role
The role of Clinical Coordinator will ensure the effective running of the Therapeutic Community (TC) Program within the residential setting at Nannup TC. Working closely with the Service Manager, you will deliver evidence-based, best practice residential treatment service to residents of the program whilst meeting outcomes and funding performance indicators.
The Clinical Coordinator is also required to work in the context of a TC, facilitating the Community of Method (CAM) treatment approach and provide leadership and support to the team. The role will also contribute to the ongoing development of our organisation.
The role is full-time at the Nannup Therapeutic Community facility located in a beautiful rural setting near Nannup in the Southwest of Western Australia.
Salary range – Level 6/7 $109,024 – $122,598 per annum
The Clinical Coordinator will oversee the following services that operate at the Nannup TC facility:
- Nannup Therapeutic Community – Kongal Wirin Program
The Kongal Wirin program is a 20-bed long-term alcohol and other drug residential treatment program utilising the Therapeutic Community model of treatment.
- Nannup Withdrawal Unit (NWU)
The NWU is a three-bed low-medical residential withdrawal unit. Consumers accessing this service often continue onto the Kongal Wirin Program after completing their withdrawal at the NWU.

Cyrenian House provides a wide range of high-quality treatment services that make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by alcohol and other drugs. Cyrenian House provided services to nearly 5000 people in 2024/25, and we employ over 250 staff across our 10 main service locations.
To be appointed / successful in this role you will require the following key qualifications, skills and experience:
- Degree in Social, Behavioural, Education, Health Sciences or equivalent experience and the AOD sector.
- Previous Leadership and clinical supervision skills.
- Have an excellent understanding of the complex range of issues related to substance misuse.
- Have Experience in designing, delivering and evaluating educational groups.
- Possess experience working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Previous experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Possess demonstrated skills and experience in the provision of assessment, counselling, therapeutic approaches and treatment planning for people with AOD related issues.
- Have demonstrated problem solving skills and mediation skills.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal, and written communication skills, including experience in report writing.
Desirable competencies and experience:
- Experience working within a Therapeutic Community.
