Cyrenian House – Midland Withdrawal Intervention Centre (MWIC) – Night / Weekend Supervisor 

Exciting opportunity to join WA’s leading specialist alcohol and other drug treatment service.

We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and highly committed individual to be part of our team at Midland Withdrawal Intervention Centre, within the role of Night and Weekend Supervisor. The Centre provides a six-bed low medical withdrawal service and associated support services, including assertive follow-up, family support, and comprehensive care and discharge planning services. The service works closely with Midland Hospital and other services to provide a responsive and flexible service to the community.

This position is offered as a Maximum Term Contract until August 2025, to cover a maternity leave period, working 40 hours per fortnight. Hours include working every Saturday & Sunday 7 pm-midnight.

The Night / Weekend Supervisor will work with the MWIC team to provide a safe environment for all MWIC Residents. They will maintain a supportive presence within the unit and be available to respond appropriately to immediate concerns. The service is based in Middle Swan.

If you meet the following selection criteria, we would like to hear from you:

Selection criteria:

  • Demonstrated capacity to work responsibly and at times independently in accordance with Cyrenian House policy and
  • Two-year minimum sobriety/clean time (if having lived experience of addiction)
  • Demonstrated capacity to maintain a secure
  • Good organisational and time management
  • Ability to assert oneself effectively and maintain clear, personal boundaries.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Current First Aid Certificate, full Drivers Licence and National Police Clearance.
