Our Organisation:

Cyrenian House is a leading not-for-profit non-government organisation that has been operating within the alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment sector since 1981. Cyrenian House provides a wide range of high-quality treatment services that make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by alcohol and other drugs.

The Role:

We are seeking applications for the role of Night Weekend Supervisor to join our casual pool of Night Weekend Supervisor. The role will work with the residential team to provide a safe environment for all therapeutic community residents. They will maintain a presence within the Therapeutic Community (TC) and be available to address immediate concerns, where appropriate.

Cyrenian House values people’s lived experience of recovery from AOD issues (2 years minimum sobriety)

The position is based at our Nannup TC and is set on a 90-acre rural property surrounded by natural bushland.

Level 2, $47.27 – $49.06 per hour (inclusive of casual loading).

The successful candidate will require:

  • An understanding of alcohol and other drug issues.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work responsibly and at times independently in accordance with Cyrenian House policy and procedures.
  • An experiential knowledge of drug and alcohol addiction. (Two years sobriety /clean time, will be highly regarded)
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to assert oneself effectively and maintain clear personal boundaries.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people from diverse backgrounds.
  • A current National Police Certificate, Drivers Licence, First Aid Certificate, full work rights, and a mobile phone,
