This year’s conference featured engaging keynote addresses from leading experts in the sector.

🎙 Professor Alison Ritter, AO
Explored the treatment gap in alcohol and other drug services and discussed strategies the sector can adopt to strengthen treatment planning.

🎙 Peter Gates
Provided valuable insights into the effectiveness of community-led initiatives and the role of community action in reducing alcohol and other drug harms.

🎙 Researcher Nicole Hewlett and Dr Peter d’Abbs
Presented on their co-authored book Learning from 50 years of Aboriginal alcohol programs (This keynote was delivered as a pre-recorded webinar through the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education, as the presenters were unable to attend in person due to adverse weather caused by Cyclone Alfred.)
