About the roles.
We are seeking passionate Diploma Qualified Educator and a Room Leader to join our team, working part-time (flexible hours). Join our vibrant team at Saranna Early Childhood Education and Care Centre (SECECC), where we are dedicated to providing quality care and education to children in a nurturing, supportive environment, the holistic wellbeing and development inclusive of all children. All key responsibilities are based on the National Law and Regulations, the Principles, Practices and Outcomes detailed in the EYLF, and the NQF Quality Areas. You are expected to have a working knowledge of these documents, which should underpin your pedagogy and, together with the Centre philosophy, directly reflect your relationships with children, families and co-educators. The Room Leader will supervise Early Childhood Educators in the room.
- The role of diploma qualified Educator is to build a strong relationship easily and quickly with parents, staff, children, & the wider community. Salary – $38.65 per hour
- The role of Diploma Qualified Room Leader will promote and support high-quality education and care, positive team culture, and meaningful learning experiences for children. Salary – $40.41 to $41.61 per hour

To be appointed / successful in this role you will require the following key qualifications, skills and experience:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently working towards a Diploma
- Child Protection Training.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent time management, communication and leadership skills, and ability to reflect on these.
- Experience and skills in conflict resolution.
- Current WWC, National Police Clearance, and full work rights to work in Australia.
