We are seeking an experienced Counsellor Educator to join us at our Nannup site.
About the role
The Counsellor Educator will provide professional alcohol and other drug (AOD) counselling, education and support to consumers and their families within a residential setting. The Counsellor Educator will be required to work within the context of the therapeutic community, applying a high level of knowledge and skill to support family inclusive practice to individuals and the local community.

Hours of Work & Location
The position is full-time (76 hours PFN) and based at our Nannup site in the Southwest surrounded by natural bushland.
The position is a level 4 – level 5, salary of $87,064 – 102,823 per annum depending on experience.
To be successful in this role you will require the following key attributes:
- Have a degree in social, behavioural or health sciences or equivalent experience in the alcohol and drug sector.
- Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Well-developed assessment and counselling skills
- Demonstrated experience in working with consumers experiencing issues related to alcohol and other drug use.
- Demonstrated and well developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
- Experience in working as part of a team.
- Full work rights, Current National Police Clearance, Driver’s License, and First Aid Certificate and mobile phone.
