WANADA – Administrative Assistant

The Western Australian Network of Alcohol and other Drug Agencies (WANADA) is the peak body for alcohol and other drug education, prevention, treatment and support services in WA. WANADA is an independent, membership-driven, not-for-profit association, representing over 90 member services across the state.

WANADA is looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Administrative Assistant with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to support our team in their daily business operations.

Administrative Assistant

Part time (0.6 FTE) or by negotiation

Salary from $60,478.55 to $67,053.66 (per annum, pro-rata depending on experience) + super and generous salary packaging available.

The Administrative Assistant will contribute to the efficient running of the WANADA office by fielding phone and email enquiries, maintaining calendars and electronic filing systems, keeping accurate records, placing stationery orders, and assisting with meeting preparation. There may be opportunities to extend this role beyond these responsibilities as guided by your skills, experience and aptitude. As the right candidate, you will have relevant experience in providing clerical and administrative support in a dynamic and inclusive office environment and be able to demonstrate initiative in supporting an optimised workflow.

 Application and Selection Process

Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants must provide:

  • a current resume/curriculum vitae, including two referees; and
  • a response to each selection criteria within the position description.

In responding to each criterion, you may wish to consider the “STAR” method – describing a Situation, Task, Action and Results of past experience.  Responses are to be kept to no more than half a page per criteria.
