2026 International Society for the Study of Drug Policy (ISSDP) Conference – Registration Open

The 19th annual International Society for the Study of Drug Policy (ISSDP) Conference will be hosted by the National Drug Research Institute (NDRI) at Curtin University from Monday 30 June – 2 July 2026, with pre-conference workshops on 29 June.

Registration is now open.

Under the theme “Connecting affected communities, drug policy and public health,” the conference will bring together global drug policy researchers, policymakers, advocates and community voices. This will be the first ISSDP conference held in Australia since 2016.

ISSDP 2026 will examine the real-world impacts of drug policy on communities and public health, centring the voices of people who use drugs and First Nations peoples. It will showcase global, cutting-edge research across the full drug market.
