Farewell to WANADA CEO Jill Rundle

Friends and colleagues from the alcohol and other drug sector gathered at Next Gen Kings Park last week to celebrate and honour Jill Rundle, who has stepped down after more than 26 years of exceptional leadership as WANADA’s Chief Executive Officer.

Board member Carol Daws led a panel discussion with Jill alongside long-time colleagues Terry Murphy and Steve Allsop, covering WANADA’s advocacy, the quality of the Western Australian alcohol and other drug sector, the value of not-for-profit services, and the cultural security of alcohol and other drug services in Western Australia.

WANADA Chair Sue Budalich also spoke of Jill’s courage, humility and determination as a leader, presenting Jill with a memento acknowledging her exceptional contribution to the organisation.

Thanks to everyone who could join us in marking this significant occasion. Jill will be greatly missed, and we hope her legacy will continue to influence the WANADA team and the alcohol and other drug sector for many years to come. We warmly wish her all the best as she sails away for new adventures.
