Training for certification success
Training for certification success
Twenty-one participants from the Aboriginal community controlled sector across WA completed lead auditor training in Perth over 12 to 14 September 2023 as part of WANADA and AHCWA’s Alcohol and other Drug Certification Readiness Project. Participants shared positive feedback on the cultural safety and overall quality of the lead auditor training, delivered by Gray Management Systems.
A highly successful project workshop followed the training on Friday 15 September 2023, where project participants, certification coaches and alcohol and other drug consultants worked together to build their knowledge of key success factors for the project.
WANADA’s Sector Quality Manager Rochelle McIntosh said it was a collaborative day, “Participants shared ideas, challenges and opportunities across services to support project and service success.”
Thanks to AHCWA for opening up their newly renovated training facilities in Highgate to the group.
The Alcohol and other Drug Certification Project is supported by the WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA).
